TW3 is an established production company based in Santa Monica (Los Angeles County), California; one block from the Beach and one block from the famous “3rd Street Promenade”. TW3 entertainment has successfully been in the entertainment and New Media business for over 20 years. Award winning Writer-Director-Producer, Tom Walsh founded and established TW3 Entertainment and TW3 Studios (TW3) to focus on creative, original entertainment projects that transport audiences to unique fantasy worlds unlike anything viewers have yet to experience or imagine.
TW3 and Tom Walsh have invested many years on the development of newly created fantasy worlds and colorful and memorable original creatures for global audiences to discover. These innovative, fun worlds are ready to be leveraged on all distribution platforms on a global basis for a world-wide audience of kids and adults alike. TW3 is producing character based motion picture, television and web content. Original character-based content generates some of the world’s most lucrative global-reach revenues in today’s New Media and Entertainment sectors. TW3 develops and produces entertainment projects in all media including developing motion pictures, television series, Web series, Virtual Worlds , on-line games for the internet, Social media, APPS, video games as well as developing characters and worlds for use in New Media technologies.TW3 and its co- owned ventures have an IP library of over 480 original characters. Very few entertainment companies have such an extensive IP library of original characters. The TW3 characters are edgy, colorful, fun and very original in style and look. Fresh original characters are a driving value in today’s new media market.
TW3 Focus
Create original entertainment content for all entertainment mediums. TW3 creates many projects with original fantastical worlds with the use of computer animation, virtual sets and 3D environments. TW3 is unique as the company has extensive experience in computer animation and Digital CGI environments as well as traditional movie-television production. TW3 creates projects from conception through its in-house writers, developers, producers, directors and full experienced production team.
TW3 is guided by CEO Tom Walsh, whose extensive entertainment career has encompassed directing, writing and producing computer animation motion pictures, live action feature films producing programming for the major TV networks, including prime time comedy specials for ABC Television Network and new daytime programs for NBC Television Network, Proctor and Gamble Productions , Time-Life Television as well as syndication and reality programming and highly acclaimed video games. Tom Walsh is very experienced with running entertainment companies, managing numerous productions for all media and currently leads the TW3 creative team being the key creator/co-writer of many of the Company projects.
TW3 for the last 14 years had been principally concentrating on creating, writing and managing all the projects for EnterAktion Studios, Inc. TW3 supervised all production activities for EnterAktion Studios on the computer animation motion picture, “Dwegons and Leprechauns” and provided the writing, producing and directing services of Tom Walsh for this movie. The film starred Academy Award winner/ Oscar star Melissa Leo was released during 2014 in the U.S and Canada by Vertical Entertainment and internationally sold in foreign markets by Vision Films. Under Tom Walsh’s direction, the movie’s final production costs came in approximately 16% under budget. Tom Walsh begin_of_the_skype_highlighting end_of_the_skype_highlighting supervised and directed creative teams and a staff of over 250 in both China and Los Angeles to complete production on the “Dwegons and Leprechauns” motion picture setting up a successful production pipeline between production teams in two countries.TW3 is experienced at setting up co-production ventures in China as they did for EnterAktion Studios for the co-production of “Dwegons and Leprechauns ” with Asia Legend, Ltd/Legendtoonland, Ltd.
In 2012, TW3 and EnterAktion Studios formed a long term joint venture company called “TW3 EnterAktion Studios Media Venture” to produce a slate of developed entertainment and New Media projects.
TW3 is in development on a new breakthrough Streaming on-line distribution Venture and platform to be launched in 2016.
TW3 has launched its music management division representing music recording artists.
